Real Nappies in the Lothians

After many years of hard work and dedicated service, the Edinburgh and West Lothian Real Nappy Networks have decided to hang up their nappies and take a break. Due in part to the hard campaigning of the local nappy networks in Lothian over the past few years, there is now a Lothian wide government funded project (the Edinburgh and Lothian Real Nappy Project, run by Changeworks) offering advice and incentives to people interested in using real nappies.

This means there is no longer such a requirement for the local networks as most of the work carried out by them is now being handled by ELRNP, with volunteers continuing to provide the demos to parents wishing to learn more about the use of cloth nappies.

The ERNN and WLRNN website will remain in existence to help redirect those guided here by the many happy parents we've helped in the past. On these pages you can find out reasons for using cloth nappies, how to choose your nappy system, tips on how to use real nappies, and a list of suppliers of real nappies.

We'd like to offer a huge thank you to all our past members, and also to all those who have taken the time to request and attend a demo. It's a little step to gain a lot of knowledge about the use of cloth nappies in the 21st century.
